Payton Kendall is a female lawyer specializing in “employment law, particularly single-plaintiff race and gender discrimination lawsuits”. The theme of the story involves workplace adversaries who become lovers. Further, this book takes “the battle of the sexes”, to a whole new level. In fact “ Practice Makes Perfect”, while different, was as equally enjoyable as “Just the Sexiest Man Alive”. Thankfully, Julie James did not disappoint – at all. Will the read be as good? Or, will I be disappointed? And, if I am disappointed what the hell am I going to say when I review the story? I’m always nervous when I come off the high of reading an awesome novel and pick up the next story penned by the same author.
